How to Set Up Your Organization (Corporate & Multi-Property)

If you operate more than one property -- or multiple brands, each with several properties -- you can group them under a single organization in ReRoute AI. This gives you consolidated dashboards, cross-property benchmarking, and reports that span your whole portfolio, while each property keeps its own day-to-day inventory management.

The hierarchy has up to three levels: Corporation (your organization) -> Brands (optional grouping) -> Properties (individual tenants with their own locations and inventory).

Step 1: Create your organization

  1. Go to Settings and open the Organization tab.
  2. If you don't have an organization yet, click Create Organization.
  3. Fill in the required fields:
    • Organization Name -- your company or portfolio name.
    • Organization Identifier -- a unique kebab-case ID (auto-filled from the name; cannot be changed later).
    • Optionally expand Show Additional Details for industry, website, headquarters, and contact information.
  4. Click Create Organization.

You become the Corporate Admin for the new organization. You may need to sign out and back in for your new role to take effect.

Step 2: Add brands (optional)

Brands are an optional middle tier -- use them if you manage distinct concepts or divisions, each with their own properties and their own Brand Admin.

  1. From Settings > Organization, click Add Brand.
  2. Fill in:
    • Brand Name -- e.g., "Acme Cafes".
    • Brand Identifier -- auto-filled kebab-case ID.
    • Contact Email -- the primary contact for this brand.
  3. Click Add Brand.

If you don't need brand-level grouping, you can skip this step and invite properties directly into the organization.

Step 3: Bring properties into your organization

Existing ReRoute AI properties join your organization by invitation -- you don't recreate them.

  1. From Settings > Organization, click Invite Account.
  2. Enter the property's Account Number (the property owner can find this on their own Settings page).
  3. Click Send Invitation.

The invited property keeps managing its own day-to-day inventory as before; it now also rolls up into your organization's consolidated view.

Step 4: Explore the organization hierarchy

The Organization tab shows your account number, brand and property counts, SSO status, and a tree view of your hierarchy (Corporation -> Brands -> Properties). Click Open Dashboard to go to the corporate dashboard.

Using the corporate dashboard

Once your organization has properties in it, the corporate views (reachable from the Corporate Admin's navigation) give you:

  • Corporate Dashboard -- aggregated metrics across every property in your organization: total locations, sustainability score, carbon footprint, and top/bottom performing properties and brands by sustainability score. This is also where you benchmark one property or brand against others today.
  • Corporate Users -- manage other Corporate Admin accounts for your organization. Day-to-day staff and roles are still managed per property; see How to Manage Users.
note

Coming soon: the navigation also has Corporate Analytics and Corporate Reports entries, but these are placeholder pages today -- they don't yet generate a consolidated cross-property report or additional benchmarking views beyond the Corporate Dashboard. Each property can still generate its own sustainability report; see Generate a Sustainability Report.

note

Corporate access is additive: becoming a Corporate Admin does not take away your access to the property you already manage. A user can work in their own property's dashboard and switch to the corporate view to see the whole organization.
