Key Inventory Concepts
| Term | Definition |
|---|---|
| Available Quantity | Current Quantity minus Reserved Quantity. This is what you can actually use or transfer. |
| Current Quantity | The total physical count of a product at a location. |
| Reserved Quantity | Units locked for a pending transfer. They are still at the source but cannot be used. |
| Par Level | The AI-recommended ideal quantity to keep on hand. Order when you drop below this. |
| Low Stock Threshold | The level you set per product that triggers an alert when available stock drops below it. |
Transfer Lifecycle
Initiated --> In Transit --> Received --> Completed
|
Auto-Cancelled (timeout)
- NFC scans are required at both pickup and delivery for verified transfers.
- Reserved quantities prevent double-booking during transfers.
- Transfers auto-cancel if not completed within the timeout period.
Order Lifecycle
Draft --> Pending Confirmation --> Confirmed --> Processing --> Out for Delivery --> Delivered --> Completed
- Orders require an active distributor relationship.
- Auto-reorder can be enabled for high-volume consumables with predictable demand.
